RESPECT SPLIT implants are specially designed for immediate implantation with ridge splitting. Body of the implant has almost the same design as the expander for splitting. Thanks to conical design of the body implant can split the bone ridge itself.
Recommendations for ridge splitting with impro Respect Split
1) Angle between buccal and lingual walls of the ridge should be more than 30 degree.
2) Design of the bone cuts depends on the bone density.
3) Bone expanders are recommended for more predictable result.
4) Hourglass shaped and uniformly narrow ridges are contraindicated for the ridge splitting.
